SAFETY/CLEANING PROTOCOLS

• All teachers and assistants will be wearing masks.

• We strongly encourage dancers to wear masks, but it is not required.

• Important: If your child has any allergy symptom like cough or nasal discharge, we will require them to wear a mask.

• Teachers will be hand sanitizing often and after touching dancers.

• Surfaces will be sanitized in between groups.

• Floors will be mopped in between groups if there was seated floorwork done in the dance.

• We will not be using any barres or props (unless owned by the dancer).

• Dancers will hand sanitize on their way in and on their way out. Sanitizer stations will be available at the entrance and exit doors.

• Important: Please do not bring your dancer to the studio if they or a member of your household has had a fever, lingering cough, or sore throat within the past 48 hours.

HOW TO ARRIVE

Although the restrooms will be open, we are discouraging restroom use (unless an emergency). Please ask your dancers to use the restroom before they come. Dancers must arrive fully dressed with dance shoes already on and hair secured back away from the face. If dancers must change shoes for class please send those shoes in, alone, in dance bag. Dance bags are not needed, if shoes changes aren’t necessary. Ballet shoes may be worn for Jazz and vice versa. Street shoes will not be allowed in the studio.

ENTRANCE AND EXITS

We will not allow dancers into the building or outside of their cars until their scheduled time of class. A teacher will meet cars at the door to take students into the studio one by one or to their outside practice area. Stay in your car until you see your teacher come out for you. Dancers (only) will be admitted into the building through the main studio entrance (Madison) and the main front entrance (Meridianville).

Meridianville Campus: will operate like a school car line. Car line entrance begins at the front door of the building for drop off and pick up. Drop off will happen at the front door. Pick up will happen at the back door, but the entrance of the car line will remain the same. Parents and sibling please remain in your vehicle at all times.

Madison Campus: All dancers will exit from the same studio entrance that they entered into or from their outdoor rehearsal space.

Parents are to park in the parking lot and wait for their children in their car. Please do not allow siblings to run and play on the sidewalk or in the parking lot. Everyone should stay in their car.
